Welcome to Möllegården kultur and       8201

Group of dolls with Midsummer Pole, teacher, all of the jurisdictional district dolls and Nils Holgersson.

Charlotte Weibull is a well-known
doll-maker in Sweden

She has been making dolls for more than 60 years. She was in 1987 nominated as folklore artist and received a royal gold medal for this. The dolls are all handmade and have been on exhibitions all over the world.

Charlotte Weibull´s folklore centre for traditional costumes, dolls and exhibitions is located in “Möllegården”, a 17th century farm which houses a museum, exhibition hall, doll workshop and boutique.

In the museum there are displays of doll groups, costumes and fabrics from the antique collection. In the exhibition you can se the very special Guinness Record exhibition with c. 2000 different doll models, which present costume styles from almost every parish- and county district in Sweden.

There are also fairy tail figures as Pippi Longstocking, Nils Holgersson, elves and many others. Theme displays can also be seen, like for instance Christmas-, Easter- and festival scenes.

In the shop you can order folk costumes from one of Scania’s 23 jurisdictional districts and your costume will naturally be custom made.
If uncertain of which district you belong to or how the costume should look like, a unique archive containing hundreds of different costume descriptions is available.

Many people order “Sverigedräkten” (the Swedish National Costume) which has become very popular thanks to Her Majesty the Queen Silvia.

In our shop you will also find the famous handmade Charlotte Weibull dolls.

Our trays are nice gifts and easy to bring. They display the Weibull dolls in different folklore motifs.
